myTouch Smartphone Better than Low-End Cameras

Most smartphone users have already forgotten about their digitals cameras. A few years ago, the built-in cameras are just 1.3 megapixels and the photos are pixelated and dark. But handset makers have improved the quality of the cameras and there are lots of smartphones with cameras that could match, or at times outperform, low end digital cameras. One of the latest smartphone with camera is the myTouch 4G Slide. This is made by Taiwanese-based HTC and available via T-Mobile. It has an 8 megapixel camera that has a lot of features normally found in a digital camera.

The myTouch 4G Slide can take sharp, bright photos. The easy-to-use smartphone runs on Android operating system and costs $200 with a two-year service contract from T-Mobile. Although there are cheaper digital cameras with higher resolution photo outputs, the phone has lens that collects more light and produce better shots in dim situations. Putting it in night mode is better than using the built-in flash. myTouch is said to have a zero shutter lag. The camera would record immediately when the camera app is opened and captures the moment once the shutter is pressed. Most camera phones suffer from a lot of shutter lag.
