New Digital Cameras Canon announces their S95 and SX30 IS successors

What’s getting improved with the S100 and SX40 HS cameras? Well for one the designs are noticeably different on the new models, for better or worse. Then there is the new 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensors being for each camera that allows for full HD (1920-by-1080) 1080p video recording (something the predecessors couldn’t do). Also there are improvements in the burst mode shooting for the two cameras, Canon has added High-speed Burst HQ that allows the S100 and SX40 HS to shoot up to 8 frames per second at full 12.1 megapixel image resolution.
