Mobile enthusiasts still in the spin of the Nokia N8 phone that hit India recently may want to gape through this one. Well, Nokia gives the Nokia X3 and X6 phones a sibling with its latest addition to the X series portfolio. Nokia announces the new X2 phone that takes more than a little inspiration from its older brethren.

Adorning a candy bar form factor, this new phone boasts of a 2.2-inch QVGA screen. Sizing it up at just 13mm in thickness, the phone weighs around 81g. Infused with dual speakers, the handset shows off dedicated music keys as well. FM stereo along with support for up to 16GB of storage through microSD card enhance the mobile music capabilities of this device.

Buttressing Bluetooth 2.1, the phone also allows hardcore music fans to choose the 3.5mm headphone jack. With full speed USB 2.0, music transfer is quick and easy while managing music is also a breeze thanks to the Ovi Player PC client or Windows Media Player 11 says Nokia Conversations.

In addition to being a musical maestro, the phone also presents users with direct access to Facebook straight from the homescreen. Nokia Messaging for email and Instant Messaging, instant access to apps from Ovi Store, a five-megapixel camera and a video recorder round of the niceties this handset packs in. The Nokia X2 will be due out before the end of June 2010 for an estimated retail price of €85 before taxes and subsidies.
